The Gospel is the air that I breathe, the only food that satisfies my hungry heart, the fruit that tastes and sees His wonderful goodness. For it is He who puts all things in order, giving me strength, provision and purpose.

A dear old man comes to testify who has been blind several years. At first he can only see the lights. But as I encourage his faith, he begins to see shadows and finally, faces. He and his wife are overjoyed.

Several have come in wheelchairs. It is obvious that many are sick. The blind reach out, hoping that I will not pass them by. The old are gracious. The young are withdrawn and curious.

One of the great challenges to live here is the widespread effects of HIV/AIDS. It is estimated that 5.6 million people are living with HIV/AIDS. There are 13 million orphans in South Africa, due to this dreaded plague. The need for the liberating power of Christ and His love is needed in this nation.

Excitement is in the air. Word is spreading. Now we are confident that the Holy Spirit is working with us, drawing people to the place where they will hear about the loving power of the Living Savior!
